In a close game, Storm got the better of Bombshells 4 - 3 at Southfield Ice Arena in Southfield on Sunday. Storm chalked up one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Storm outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. In the third period Bombshells outscored their opponents by one goal however Storm kept its lead, and won the game.

Kim Giglio, Maxine Kennebrew, Dawn BlaszczaK, and Kelley Kosnik each added one goal for Storm.

Storm moves to a record of 2-0. Bombshells ended the game with a record of 6-9.
