In a close game, Ice Picks won against Swarm 5 - 4 at Kensington Valley Ice House in Brighton on Sunday. Ice Picks outscored Swarm two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. As the second period unfolded, Ice Picks outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. In the final period Swarm outscored Ice Picks 2 to 1 however Ice Picks kept its lead, and won the game.

Displaying a great scoring touch, Julie Garska netted the hat trick with three goals as well as two points.

Ice Picks continued their current win streak of three games and now has a record of 14-2. Swarm ended the game with a record of 9-3.
