Both defenses battled it out, but Ice Pack triumphed over Storm 1 - zero at Southfield Ice Arena in Southfield on Sunday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. Both defenses held strong to shut down scoring in the second period. Ice Pack finally scored in the final period with one goal and won the game.

Ice Pack now has a record of 9-8. Storm suffered their first loss and ended the game with a record of 3-1.
