Defenses ruled the day when Iron Maidens finished off Stingrays 1 - zero at U of M Dearborn on Monday. Iron Maidens racked up one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Iron Maidens maintained its lead. Stingrays's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Iron Maidens conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Iron Maidens now has a record of 4-9. Stingrays ended the game with a record of 8-12.
