Shutting out the competition, Swarm handed a loss to Flames 5 - zero at Hartland Sports Center in Hartland on Sunday. Swarm racked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Swarm gained three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Swarm's defense shut down Flames for the rest of the game. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Swarm protected its lead, and was the winner.

Swarm's Kim Hartmann made two goals for Swarm. Shellie Martin, Brooke McFall, and Shannon Floeter each tallied one goal for Swarm.

Flames ended the game with a record of 2-14.
