Shutting out their opponents, Storm defeated Flames 4 - zip at Plymouth Cultural Center in Plymouth on Sunday. Storm scored three straight goals to take the lead in the first period. Storm gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. Flames's fate was sealed. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Storm conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Amanda Froling, Maxine Kennebrew, Julee Erskine, and Dawn BlaszczaK each tallied one goal for Storm.

Flames ended the game with a record of 2-15.
