In a tight contest, Swarm was superior against Storm 4 - 3 at Southfield Ice Arena in Southfield on Sunday. Swarm and Storm both scored one goal to end the first period tied. In the second period, Swarm scored two goals to Storm's one and took the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Swarm kept the lead for the win.

Having an outstanding day for Swarm, Shellie Martin got the hat trick with three goals. Becky Darr contributed one goal for Swarm.
