In a tightly contested game, Storm triumphed over Swarm 3 - 2 at Kensington Valley Ice House in Brighton on Sunday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. In the second period, with defenses wearing down, Storm outscored their opponents by one goal and took the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Storm kept the lead for the win.

Julee Erskine made one goal for Storm and also had one assist. Kim Giglio and Maxine Kennebrew each tallied one goal for Storm. Tryon and Wiese each added one assist for Storm.

Shelly Stiles netted one goal for Swarm and also had one assist. Ann McManamon added one goal for Swarm.

Swarm finished the game with a record of 12-5.
