In a defensive battle, Storm got the better of Ice Picks 1 - 0 at Southfield Ice Arena in Southfield on Sunday. Both teams were scoreless in the first period. With no one scoring in the second period both defenses were solid. Finally getting points on the board in the third period, Storm scored one goal to take the win.

Storm now has a record of 6-2. Ice Picks ended the game with a record of 18-4.
