Defenses ruled the day when Mission prevailed over ICES 1 - zip at Civic Arena in Garden City on Thursday. Neither team managed to get the puck in the net in the first period. The defenses also ruled the second period with no one managing to score. Mission broke the ice with one goal in the third period to finally win the game.
